I like that every pokemon is somebody's favourite, there's nothing that's too weird or too janky or too cringey or too whatever that there isn't somebody that likes it. My personal favourites are cloyster and bronzong so I love it when somebody's favourite isn't just in OU or Uber.
Tentacruel has Rapid Spin and Knock Off and Toxic Spikes, and is a bulky water type seems like a good wall!

I love Weezing, another great physical wall with Haze, Will-o-Wisp, Explosion, Pain Split, Sludge Bomb, plus amazing Poison typing with levitate (making him immune to one of his 2 weaknesses)
The problem with tentacruel in competitive is it’s typing. It’s weak to ground, psychic, electric
Haters will accuse it of having "poor physical bulk" completely ignoring the fact that it's fast enough to get off an acid armor ahead of a lot of attacks, plus it can protect + black sludge/rain dish/aqua ring to gain back the HP
Tentacruel is great. I got one at the very end of my Diamond Nuzlocke and just wish I could have used it earlier
