I'm now 100% sure that every most negative analysis of Harry Potter (the goblins are jews, house elfs are pro slavery propaganda, the greater theme is eugenics) are true.

My opinion is that she fully intended all of that, but without being consciously aware of it. She was the typical unscratched fascist back then, fully immersed in Tony Blair Thought. 100% believing all the racist, chauvinist, anti-semitic, patriarchal garbage the British Empire was built upon without the slightest bit of awareness. If you would have asked her 20 years ago, she would've insisted to be a progressive left winger and she would have fully believed it.

ofc at this point, she'd retweet Hitler himself if he said something against trans people. she's just that fixated on us.

Im tempted to try to put this theory to the test somehow but the Matt Wash retweet seems to imply that its inevitable. :yea:

what's so fucked about the queen :ukkk: terf here is she could just log off forever and live in luxury and safety until the end of her child blood life extended days, while the rest of us burn in the collapse and wet bulb events. she could cocoon herself in a bubble by throwing so much money that she could effectively erase the existence of trans people in her localized hyper-bougie reality. she could pay a team of 100 to carefully curate all outside news and information to make it seem like there isn't a single trans person on earth and never have to worry about the evil genders coming for her twitter account ever again as like she just relaxes and gets expensive massages 24/7 . she has the wealth and power to do all this and it would barely take a fraction of it.
but instead she spends all her fucking time being waaay too fucking online and fighting her personal insane terf "crusade". i fear for the day when her brain finally melts completely and she decides to take her billion dollars and just pass out weapons, cash, and resources to the most vile fascists she can find.

as i do every time she comes up, i will recommend the shriekcast. obviously a podcast that goes chapter by chapter through the harry potter series breaking down everything awful about the author that bleeds through isn't for everyone, but if that sounds interesting and you're interested in a reminder of her exact journey to going full mask off, it's real good. their signoff every episode is "please read another book" and they cover slavery apologia, fatphobia, transphobia, ableism, racism, misogyny, classism, antisemitism, and some just plain bizarre writing choices

Perhaps the biggest and central message of the Harry Potter series is the power of the individual over the collective. In this way, the series is a modern day recreation of the Fountainhead only told in the genre of childhood fiction. The story is largely about the the willingness of a traditional family group and an extraordinary white male to give their lives for an ordinary child. Because of the heroic efforts, a child without any extraordinary abilities can overcome the entirety of the government, main stream media, and the most powerful dark wizards of all time by having an unwavering faith in the goodness of himself, his friends, and his hero.

The heroes of the series at one point have to disguise their true selves using the Project Veritaserum (Polyjuice) potion order to infiltrate the central government's halls of power only to be horrified that it is being used to disseminate information about "undesirables (deplorables)" to the general public, create new teaching materials to be distributed to Hogwarts in order to indoctrinate children, and the corrupt government is so far removed from the populace that they have built monuments displaying the government's power over the helpless. The entirety of the set of books is a widespread display of the worst aspects of communist/socialist ideologies and their applications in government; and the ability of individuals to successfully defeat these ideologies through faith and determination.

JK Rowling (as well as the other 50 million on her island) is a depigmented genetic threeway between Siberians, aboriginals, and neolithic Arabs, but I still agree to call her a "European"

I'm sure she can extend the same grace to others

There's too many blue check "Matts" - Walsh, Breunig, Yglesias, Taibbi, BeRad, etc.... I have a hard time remembering which ones suck and which ones really suck.
