it's the incel/manosphere thing about being so unmanly that your (obviously female) spouse sleeps with others and you allow it.

"Cuck" is worse than that: it entered the discourse via Steve Bannon's neo-nazi propaganda movement and he got from The Camp of the Saints, a French white supremacist novel that used it to refer to anyone who didn't want to exterminate refugees.

Based and cuck both pack a punch and have a non mainstream sound, even though they've kinda become mainstream, so they get used by extremists all around. I think horseshoe theory might be true for language because the middle and moderate people can just express their beliefs with common language, but more obscure positions inevitably see their adversaries and some terms they like in them. Realpolitik I think I've seen used by chan heads too, and red pill maybe started more leftist until chuds took it over. Honestly -pill language is ubiquitous to extremists, because we all swallowed something the mainstream didn't want to show us.

Monkeypox isn't even an STD. Holy shit. It spreads from close contact and touch, of which sex is definitely counted as.

people who fake mental illnesses to feel special on tiktok get too much shit compared to people who fake mental illnesses on 8chan to feel special. at least they're actually putting effort into their performance instead of just having the politics of any given white boomer.

Are humans just too stupid for their own good? It hasn't even been 50 years since AIDs. Hell, people have not evolved whatsoever ever since the Salem Witch Trials. Somehow being a "based chad who doesn't care what other people think" is just mindlessly conforming to groupthink ever since the aforementioned Salem days.

Scratch that, humans are not stupid, they are evil. Any wrongness in their belief is worth it as long as non-conformists get killed for not being conformists.

    These "people" are literally zombies.

Substitute “humans” with “capitalists” and you’re closer to the truth.

before I really got into historical materialism I struggled with this anger, but stupid vs. evil is a false dichotomy. people are shaped by their material conditions and they seek out the ideas that help them deal with those conditions

this essay helped reframe things for me: https://redsails.org/masses-elites-and-rebels/

I don't know about that, people seem more afraid of HIV from needles than from sex nowadays, at least from what I've heard.
