There's a surprising amount of them in ex-military circles. It's not all full blown chuds. Mostly just really confused guys like this that refuse to read a book and still get a decent pension.

Yeah kinda friends with a forty year old airborne vet. He said something along the lines of “I did fucked up shit. Now I want to do some good in the world.” Really interesting guy but super intense.

        Fuck america

Like jesus christ what is the bar for a mental episode? Why the fuck didn't that shit get recognised as clearly the actions of a mentally unwell man having an episode? Why are people being executed for mental illness?

I guess the way they trained soldiers to fight in Vietnam looked a lot like torturous, premeditated, cruel behavior when showed to a jury

Why is a fucking jury deciding if someone is mentally ill or not instead of a fucking suite of qualified health professionals? Fuck america

Cuz that would be a communist death panel like Obama wanted to do. Freedom and democracy demand that our death panels be staffed by the dumbest motherfuckers that can be located within the jurisdiction.

this dude is perpetually on the border of wanting to die for his crimes in Iraq and being conditioned to kill anyone who wants to do that to him. best case scenario he gets his wish and also takes out some cops. the alternative of therapy and reeducation is highly unlikely imo

I knew a libertarian guy like this, and he was completely into the parapolitical shit. I didn't believe him entirely about some things in regards to all the conspiracies post-WW2, but after having looked in some of the stuff he used to tell me, it seems like he knew what he was talking about. He even admitted that the commies got the raw end of the deal over the decades, but he was also inherently just skeptical of the state in general, so he also didn't mince words when it came to the USSR and China.

He absolutely hated the pigs and was very much wound up about fascists. Used to speak to him all the time about how libertarianism is a good conduit for fascism, especially if you take capitalism as the default economic mode, and while he'd agree on some points, he'd throw shit back at me and say that even in an ideal world, a communist state would eventually turn repressive. Most times we just talked past each other, and there were some instances where I was just out of my depth because of how much historical reference dude had (definitely instances where he was dropping a propagandized version of events in retrospect)

He passed away some years ago due to complications with his liver. Dude just lived hard and died hard. He had a brother that basically lost bodily functions due to agent orange, along with passing some of it on to his kids. Honestly I miss the dude, despite knowing we'd never agree in the end lol

Sometimes I'm sympathetic towards libertarians because I've seen the US fuck shit up so badly for so long that I don't really trust our government to do anything ever again. :amerikkka:

I think that's where I can kinda draw the line between black-pilled anti-government types and crypto-fascists. If you hate/fear foreigners and just apply "Communism" as an invective, you're another white nationalist in libertarian clothing. If you hate/fear the American government and just see "Communism" as another hat for the same set of rapacious, soulless, western authoritarians to wear while they bleed you dry, you're more cynical than I can bare to be but its not like you don't have a few valid concerns.

Honestly I miss the dude, despite knowing we’d never agree in the end lol

If more people could just be cool to hang out with, Communism would win.

I feel like a communist state would have to be repressive against capitalism, fascism, etc. Reeducation won't always work. The other option is a Truman Show scenario where we throw all the dissidents into a fake town and let them play pretend.
