    Ban private schools.

Edit: AKA public schools in England. That's confusing as hell.

If I'm nostalgic for better times in the past, does that mean I'm a reactionary?

technically a lot of the early anti-capitalism movements were reactionary against capitalism.

the idea of forces of progress and reaction comes from modernism which wasn't so much an idea of Marx's as it was an idea that was around at the time. If you don't accept the modernist idea that there is a definite endpoint which society is moving towards then the phrases reactionary and progressive become meaningless

A punch didn’t kill Archie Lloyd, though, and Sebastian Trabucatti‘s sentence was suspended.

Rich kid fell and smacked head after getting hit, went back to his rented villa where friends lay him in bed and then went to sleep without taking him to the hospital. Friends woke up at noon next day to find him dead. None of that was the club guy’s fault. Would have lived to be an absolute ghoul if he sought medical treatment or his buddies took him to the hospital.

Apparently they called the wrong emergency number too, so technically they're just as responsible for his death as the bouncer was, lol

What part of the body do you have to hit to inflict that kind of damage? Stomach? Head?

Human body is weird. Sometimes a small girl is shot a dozen times and lives, other times a fit as fuck person slips and falls the wrong way and just fucking dies.

A punch to the head can do it, especially if the subsequent fall is also rough

You can also give someone a sort of heart attack by hitting them in the chest. Look up "commotio cordis".

There's a tribal group in the Amazon that does chest punching fights where two guys take turns punching each other in the heart trying to get the other guys heart to stop. It goes on until one guy gives up because lets' get real that shit's gotta hurt. But rarely someone dies from it.

Hit to the head + landing head first on concrete is the most common.

usually it's falling backwards after being punched that kills people

You can kill someone by punching them in the head if you bounce their brain around hard enough but it takes some doing. But this kid fell and hit his head on concrete, which fractured his skull and caused hemorrhaging. The hemorrhaging is what killed him. Falling down is very dangerous and leads to a lot of injury and death, especially in older people.

That said, you want to kill someone by punching them, you generally either have to hit them in the nose hard enough that some bone goes back through the sinus' in to the brain, or hit them so hard anywhere that it concusses them and causes swelling in the brain.

If you're hitting them in the body it's possible to kill someone by rupturing organs but you generally have to hit them really hard many times to pull that off. You're in a lot more danger being kicked in the torso when you're on the ground. Being kicked in the torso it's relatively simple to have organs ruptured or to have ribs broken and driven in to your lungs or organs.

TLDR; Don't get in fights it's bad.

That bouncer did 100 push-ups, 100 situps, 100 squats, and ran 10 km a day.
