After like a year of trying and cutting it off over and over, I finally got my hair out of The Weird Zone and transitioned into a "long" hair style
Getting nervous because I've been cutting my own hair for years because I don't trust hair dressers. Not sure I'll be able to handle cutting my own hair while it's long
I don't know if I can give great haircut advice (when I had long hair I always tried very hard not to think about it because dysphoria) but I've cut my own hair a few times and I've found cutting long hair easier than short, just because it's easier to reach and also to section off into layers. But also I personally never cared too much about ensuring my haircuts were super even so maybe that's a part of it.
