I used to know a fairly wealthy gay man. Hardcore GOP supporter. He was fully aware how much most GOP voters despised gays and honestly he just didn't give a single fuck. He was all like "oh you're gonna make my marriage illegal? OK whatever I've got good lawyers my husband will be fine if our marriage isn't legal and if something happens to me". He was all about everything else on the GOP's agenda. Pretty sure he was racist af (he never came out and said it but being a white guy raised amongst white reactionaries you just sorta... know).

Edit: also, lol at the idea of an app just for single, cis het folks. As if most dating apps didn't already struggle with having too many straight dudes. That place is gonna be a bro fest. Anyway I thought Farmers Only was the lowkey fash dating app?

Provincialism is the wrong brand of bigotry. These fash prefer parochialism. Something something western civilization.

Peter Thiel has been owned by his own logic and must therefore forfeit all his money and status to Aaron Sorkin.

I knew a girl that had a real part time job with apparently decent pay just maintaining an account (or more) on a now failed online dating service. Clocking in, flirting with weirdos for four hours, clocking out

This is not something expected to make money. It is something meant to enforce a normativity on society, which does not threaten a billionnaire the way it would threaten an ordinary gay man.

lol it’s going to be 70% divorced boomers and the other 20% will be people looking to grift them. With a 10% of weird tradcaths and those conservative girls who get butt hurt when men tell them to stop working.

It's very easy for the bourgeois to have class solidarity, because none of their rules apply to each other. They have the money and resources to not be affected by anything, so as long as they make cash, they're happy.
