He was all like "oh you're gonna make my marriage illegal? OK whatever I've got good lawyers my husband will be fine if our marriage isn't legal and if something happens to me". He was all about everything else on the GOP's agenda. Pretty sure he was racist af (he never came out and said it but being a white guy raised amongst white reactionaries you just sorta... know).
