🤨 she literally lost an election. This is an level of pearl clutching beyond even "criticisms of me are 1984"

Actually maybe this is fine. I guess they're very close to realizing that negotiating power within institutions isn't significantly different between the Soviet and "democratic" systems. Not to equate the two, but rather its not some spooky scary thing since in practice it's often very similar.

It is immensely amusing how liberals are falling over themselves to defend Liz when she is by all metrics a horrific person in politics and generally. Looking forward to her martyrdom when she runs for prez as a democrat

Anyone who opposes Trump is automatically doubleplus good.

That she was a RINO just made it better. Trump's own party! But the Trump wing of the GOP is rapidly ridding itself of the RINOs and boy is the DC power establishment pissed. How dare they vote out the best people in the world! The ones who don't have any ideology but continuing their own power, and hold the American people in contempt?

Dems do understand party discipline when it comes to say Hillary vs Bernie, of course...

They work to the Dems' perceived "benefit" though. Rotating Villain has been a tactic in use since Obama. Of course, it looks like it will blow up in their face by 2024 but their necks aren't on the line...

These fucking idiots will turn everything negative about the conservatives into anti-left propaganda and in doing so enable the growth of the far right by suppressing the far left's development under the material conditions.

I'd say it's intentional but it's not, they're just fucking stupid. They really have no idea at all how what they're doing helps the far right, how their anticommunist bullshit is actively in their benefit. They think they're doing something super fucking clever by playing on the already primed anticommunism people have in the US as a method of selling anti-conservatism but it does the fucking opposite because it's FASCISM not just simple conservatism. Fighting the development of fascism by suppressing the development of the only fucking people that will fight against them effectively is literally beneficial to the fascists.

I've always recognized "disappearing" as a technique that the fascists predominantly used throughout time and throughout the world. Disappearing someone is not just killing them or removing them from a position, it's taking them away suddenly without any knowledge of their friends and loved ones. It's a technique used to paralyze the population because they have no idea what the consequences of their actions could be for the people whose fates are in limbo. Generally, they were murdered, but the family never confirms until decades later if ever.
