"You can show a child pictures of the leaders of each side in a revolutionary conflict, and any one who's raised on Disney and Mother Goose will be able to tell who the good guys are and who the bad guys are."

This is one of those takes that was written with the express purpose of pissing people off and getting replies.

Anyway, the leaders of successful revolutions often have a lot of pictures of them taken when they're older, and therefore not as likely to be conventionally attractive. One of the reasons why Che is such a pop-cultural icon is that he died young, when he was still hot.

Honestly, the left needs to start doing the same. Hatred online is so one-sided.

Someone needs to start reminding these malformoids of the inbred, white trash fatasses they are.

Here is a collection of Confederate generals. Hmm!

is this guy saying the confederates were the good guys? i didn't know that was an acceptable opinion to say openly in the US even now

Right? As someone who grew up in a town full of confederate flags, even the people flying them mostly say publicly that the confederacy was mostly the wrong side, even though they then defend every aspect of it.

Bruh, like 85% of Disney movies take place in an unquestioned absolute monarchy framed as natural and good and benevolent.

Under socialism, Mikey Mouse will star in a 15 hour animated mini series about the procedural minutae that led to the Bolshevik-Menshevik split.

A bunch of these are comparing paintings and retouched photos of the monarchy in their youth to revolutionaries in old age. lmao.

The funniest part of this is when he posts a couple pictures and everyone pictured looks like a perfectly normal person so you have to wait for him to illuminate which side is the ugly and bad side. Most noticeably in Selassie vs Mariam. I see people who look like both of these guys every day. Perfectly normal looking dudes.

This is hilarious but it's also genuinely frightening that people think like this. Also, for my own edification, artists tend to flatter their subjects unless they're specifically paid not to.

"As you can see by this comparison between a royal given a sympathetic portrait and a dead revolutionary's face mold, the royal is obviously better looking."

Wow it's almost like children's entertainment in capitalist countries glorifies the monarchy and teaches babies that rich and pretty=good

Liberals don't accidentally prove the lefts point for them challenge

Everyone and their mother had their photos retouched in the early 20th century. Turns out when you pay shitloads of money for some guy to take your picture you want them to make you look nice. Who could've fucking thought?

The monarchs, of course, famously never had unrealistic depictions of them made.

Love how he left out Lincoln and Grant from the Union. Two men that were considered attractive for their time and aren't bad looking by today's standards.
