I’m very saddened by Matt’s brainrot. His first year of cushvlogs were actually pretty interesting and I thought he had the potential to outgrow Will and Felix. His early vlogs inspired me to delete my twitter and touch more grass and now I can’t stand listening to them anymore.

You went through the grill pill and deleted twitter but decided listening to a twitch streamer is a better use of your time???

THEY LITERALLY JUST BECAME A REDDITOR AND ARE STILL BRAGGING ABOUT DETACHING FROM SOCIAL MEDIA HOW THE FUCK DO YOU MAKE THAT WORK IN YOUR ADOLESCENT PEA-BRAIN :jokerfication:

Replacing one social media addiction with another fits within the grillpill philosophy, i'm pretty sure.

Matt hasn't radically changed his thoughts from the first cushvlogs to now, I think they've just gotten more refined over time

Brainrot is when you read books and discuss them on a stream.

Sensible, rational, insightful content is when you scream anonymous chat members about how pedophilia is good actually.

What Matt says isn't even controversial. Kerry ran a campaign in 2004 whose main theme was "we would've done the Iraq war better".

If you haven't hidden from US forces in a hastily constructed hidey hole, can you even call yourself a leftist?

Its controversial if your brain can only process imperialism as a binary between two empires instead of class struggle.

The NATO stans are "critical support for the Anglo-French war effort against Hun Barbarism". Putin stans are "critical support for the Kaiserreich against Anglo-French imperialism and encirclement."

Every so-called "socialist" who supports the former position are at best Second International revisionists who would have patriotically voted for war credits.

Tempting nuclear holocaust? Eh, you sound like a child.

The degree to which people completely dismiss and refuse to even consider nuclear deterrence is really frightening.

This. I didn't think I could be surprised anymore, but the cavalier attitude around nuclear armageddon from a bunch of pampered talking heads who whinged about having to pay $5/gal for their mall crawler is going to be in for a rude fucking awakening.

      Obama was vaporizing weddings

That and bombing a known MSF hospital which is a super double war crime. Libs just shrugged.

Vaush fans are the type of politicians you'll get if a self-proclaimed socialist party is ever allowed to win a national election in the US.

Yup!!! They want to disguise it as like, simplifying their train of thought for the sake of irony, but the truth is it doesn't go beneath the surface. That's the only language they have to describe their flimsy, mystical joke-ideas. The rest is just other peoples' memorized rhetoric that they throw at you without even taking off the packaging. They don't understand it enough to apply it to specific situations, because all they have to do is learn to recite it.

"Noooooooooo this is different from the Iraq war!!! There's legitimate baddies this time!!! We're not them!!! Putler must go!"

Lets look at one of the actual top comments by Imperial-General: "Very clear that a lot of people who claim to have been "anti-imperialist" in opposing the Iraq War really were just un-American and have spent the last decades pining for a righteous foreign hegemony under a Good Non-Western Country."

Honestly can't believe I just read that lmao. The brainworms on these people...

Viewers beware, that thread is absolutely CURSED. Be suspicious of Vaush fans!

Noam Chomsky and Henry Kissinger, as well as 50+ % of Ukraine's population are now genocide denying redfash tankies for claiming NATO bears any responsibility for the war. The only people who can be trusted to uphold true socialist values are a white twitch streamer who says the n word, the Raytheon board of directors, and think tanks called like "The Oskar Dirlewanger Jr. Foundation for Freedom and Democracy"

Where did you get that? Is there a source that you have a link to, I'd like to have that as trolling material for libs.

holy shit one of the replies

Is there an actual reason that invading Iraq was bad? In the counterfactual in which Saddam remained in power, the Middle East is probably no better today, judging by the massive instability we’ve seen in plenty of countries the US didn’t topple.

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY PEOPLE THE AMERICANS FUCKING MURDERED, JESUS CHRIST :agony-shivering:

mentally twisted jingoism where as nominal leftists they can't say US foreign policy is actually good, but every time "just in this case" the US is right, then in 10 years when its undeniable the US lied & cheated and murdered---they pretend they never supported it at all

Weird, modern, nominal leftists: "Yeah, I recognize all the shit like Operation Paperclip, COINTELPRO, all of South America, Iraq War, etc that the national security and intel agencies have done in the past, but they just stopped doing that because... this time is different. How about that land war in China?"

Now imagine if Iraq, Libya, Syria all have the military capability and competency of actually fighting US military to a halt, and cause economic damage at home

Would China fit this criteria? I don't follow V*ush so don't know their opinion
