Large corporations turning massive profits have taken to laundering their image by purchasing "Degrowth Offsets," an obfuscation layer by which stocks of failing companies are purchased at a premium through short selling firms.

Reminds me of that anti-union podcast that some company put out, that began with a land acknowledgement from both of the mega-HR-liberal hosts.
