I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Hufflepuff are ancoms. They get along well enough with everyone and are also kinda forgettable.
Ravenclaw are leftcoms. They’re too smart for their own good and need a rescue team to retrieve them from their armchairs.
Gryffindor are Maoists. Because they go hard, stick up for the downtrodden, and do dumb shit.
Slytherin are MLs. Pragmatic, hierarchical, and willing to ally with capital to get shit done. Also an awkward history of occasionally oppressing minorities.
Hi! I ended up here because OP legit reported this, like they said they did, and I just wanted to say: you fucking nailed it right here hahaha 10 points to whatever house you identify with (as long as it's Hufflepuff) :chavez-salute:
Interesting point, yet you made a spelling mistake which means
ppeeeepeeepooopoooo
Maybe theyre the house elves because everyone else would kick them in the face & not think anything of it
MLs Tankies and Stalinists are different terms for the same thing right? It's early and I'm sleepy
"Tankie" started as an insult for people who supported Khrushchev's military action in Hungary and the quelling of the Hungarian revolution. I saw someone on r/cth say trots came up with it but I'm too lazy to see if that's true. Nowadays it's used by liberals to refer to anyone left of Bernie Sanders, and by non-ML socialists to refer to MLs, and sometimes people call themselves that. Stalinist is a much more self explanatory insult, and Marxist-Leninist is the actual word for the ideology. Personally I think "tankie" a dumb word that should die out along with "anarkiddie" as a meaningless drama starter.
Tankie is being semi-reclaimed, though. Tanks are cool, so it doesn’t have an immediate knee jerk reaction like, say, Stalinist evokes.
apparently if you accidentally doubletap ctrl+enter you can multipost, neat
So ancoms get things done and are portrayed as dorks for it, while MLs are bullies that see themselves as heroic?
Hmm.
Not going to deny than ancoms do real shit, but overthrowing capitalist states and maintaining alternatives in the face of violent reaction qualifies as "getting things done" if anything does.

Yes, nowadays.
Back in the post-Stalin era, being a tankie meant supporting Khrushchev in crushing the Hungarian rebellion, but it didn’t mean (necessarily) supporting Stalin, as by that time Khrushchev had denounced Stalin and started destalinisation.
