Bflix.ru has every single movie and television show I have ever looked for.
It's literally all I use to stream movies and television shows.
If someone here has information about how it's bad, don't tell me I don't want to know
Piracy discussion? In the meme community?
Yeahhhh this is getting pinned for a bit. :rat-salute-2:
Some stuff I use not mentioned yet:
nyaa.si for anime
showrss.info is how I track my TV slop
solidtorrents.to search engine for when I'm having trouble tracking something down
I wont link it but the /tg/ share thread of 4chan is a great place to start for TTRPG stuff just, y'know, content warning for basically any kind of bigotry
5e.tools if you play D&D 5E, easy the best tool for looking up stuff paid or not
might add more later
edit:
gog-games.com uploads GOG stuff to DDL sites for use with something like jdownloader2, find it good for finding old/niche stuff that is no longer seeded
I wont link it but the /tg/ share thread of 4chan is a great place to start for TTRPG stuff just, y’know, content warning for basically any kind of bigotry
Is there a replacement for The Trove yet, or does one just have to deal with /tg/'s obfuscated inner sanctum bullshit?
Last time I checked things seem to splinter with a bunch of different partial mirrors (like https://thetrove.dungeon.church/) being updated with different stuff, but it's been quite awhile. The one I linked is cool because it uploads the new Arcadia Magazine issues which a lot of places don't touch because MCDM is supposedly pretty on the ball with takedowns.
Oooh thanks, I wasn't aware of this. A bit barebones but I'll take it!
4chan is actually a great place for pirated media if you know where to look, since the thread for any given media will often have a link to a mega or torrent for it
The annoying thing is that it’s hard to contribute. Unless you also have obscure music other people want, you’re just gonna end up leeching lol
It surely helps if you were around when music download blogs were still a bigger thing (most of that stuff moved over to vkontakte of all sites lmao)
Leftist movies for download: https://www.solidaritycinema.com/
Letterboxd list for easier browsing: https://letterboxd.com/solidaritycine/list/solidarity-cinema-archive/by/rating/
I love these threads.
Two good anime streaming sites: animedao.to, zoro.to
Good general TV site: yesmovies.mom
Also anybody using sketchy streaming sites should absolutely use Firefox with the Ublock Origin extension.
rarbg for more recent stuff. always seems to have quality encodes.
Can I piggy back on this to ask a question. I just sent a link to a pirated series to a lefty friend, and he replied "I'd rather not watch this as it's riskier for solicitors to view pirated content". Like WTF is that real??
When you take the bar in the U.S. you have to swear an oath that you've never committed a felony. There are probably similar "I will never do anything naughty" oaths for practicing officers of the court that two or three lawyers take seriously. I imagine it's similar in other countries.
The thing is, when you watch a pirated episode of family guy and someone important knows you did and exposes you, you don't have to convince techbros or genz's that you didn't violate your oath, you have to convince a level 100 conservative boomer that's never owned a computer, had a phone number, or owned a non-black-and-white TV that the activity you performed was not an ethical violation of your oath.
I doubt this is real. What county are we talking about? Was it a stream or a torrent?
It was a stream. I swear on my life the convo was real. Also I'm not posting my country for opspec reasons.
To be fair, if it’s a country outside the west you don’t have much to worry about unless you think your ISP might be monitoring you
In the West. Sorry to be fucking vague.
I'm not worried. It's just funny that "OMG I work with the courts" matters with piracy.
Oh yeah that makes sense. Good call though, wouldn’t want the clients being doxed either lol
For general needs I go to TPB (not recommended anymore; see comments below)
For Audio/VSt plug-ins I use audioz.download
When I'm in doubt I check, which I got from here some time ago: https://github.com/Igglybuff/awesome-piracy (if someone has a more up to date similar aggregated ressource please share)
What's wrong with TPB? I'm out of the loop and never hard really trouble with it so far?
It's unmoderated, the skulls don't mean anything anymore, and legit uploaders have abandoned it. There's simply way better sites out there nowadays. Sure, there's some legit torrents on there, but those'll be on other sites too.
Check https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/wiki/megathread/
Thanks Obama! I'll check the resources you provided :fidel-salute-big:
vimm.net and nxbrew.com for old video games and Switch games, respectively
Do not introduce your mom to piracy unless you want them calling you every 2 hours trying to get their text messages working again on their phone or something. They will uninstall the adblocker you put on their browser (if they'll even let you do it at all) because it slightly broke FB once and then they'll click on every ad they see.
yea, instead of teaching my parents how to do it i just pirate everything for them
nooo way am i going to get them to understand why they should be using a vpn and adblock and only using very specific sites instead of just googling "___ free download"
Yeah, a little bit. Also once you get involved they'll blame you personally for whatever problems their computer has.
https://cs.rin.ru/forum/ For latest games, updates, and DLCs. Often times unless it’s a major release or rarely updated game, there won’t really be any DLCs/patches included on other places but cs.rin.ru usually consolidates a bunch of sources that do update the game.
1337x.to for general purpose
fitgirl-repacks.site For repacked (compressed) game installers
r/CrackWatch for release news
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/ For software and keygens (usually windows and adobe and is a bit more complicated than torrenting)
Not piracy per se, but there's also https://sci-hub.st/ for getting around academic article paywalls.
