  • lol dipped into :reddit-logo: to talk about a video game i'm playing, and immediately stumbled upon a guy who was accusing anyone who disagreed with him that they were sock puppet accounts. there was only one guy agreeing with him with the same bizarro posting style and and similar usernames so i looked at the history of both, of course it was the same guy who'd doxxed himself on both lmao

    truly the most normal place

The bartenders in Mass Effect were more sociable than these gormless twats.

The bars in Freelancer were better than this too, and they were basically just adventure game point and click mission hubs.

I can't because I legitimately do not understand the relationship people have with their phones. To me it's a tool, there isn't any entertainment value in it. It's function hasn't even meaningfully changed for me since they started putting cameras into old brick phones back in the 00's.

The homeworld remaster also fixed some engine isues but they half asses it so there is still a lot of problems with the engine not being able to use modern pc specs. But overal i say it good.

Did you play Homeworld Remastered closer to release? It was so broken that you couldn't actually complete the tutorial. Even after years of patching I still ended up going to the original, as the remastered merged mechanics of both 1&2 in a way that kind of ruined campaign balance.

I haven't experienced a remaster I actually thought was worthwhile. They either completely miss the original artistic intent, ruining lighting and atmosphere, or they introduce massive game breaking bugs. Usually both. No exceptions so far.

  • space_wizard [any]tochapotraphouseWhat's a card catalog?

I've actually got no practical experience with card catalog systems and I'm older than the average user here. The libraries near me digitized in the late 80s/early 90s. I think this being a shock to users here is a testament how poorly funded libraries are over in America.
