I just talked to some dumbass liberal who flashed me a sloppy anarchist tattoo and when I started talking to them about their favorite theory they brought up Rich Dad Poor Dad and something about gumball machines and passive income...

This is not a bit. I repeat, this is not a bit.

Apparently in the book, you buy a gumball machine and eventually you gather enough passive income from it to buy a carwash and then you don't have to work because you can hire your own workers.

My parents actually tried this as a kid. I don’t think they even came close to making enough money in quarters to pay off the machines and we just had gumball machines in the garage for the rest of my teenage years

I guess Rich Dad Poor Dad doesn't have any advice about being first to market.

Capitalist ideology is so dumb Jesus fucking Christ I can't believe so many people buy into it.

Holy fuck I remember someone telling me about this. I used to work in banking and we had a client who owned like 20 vending machines. A couple of times a month they'd bring in like $7000 in one dollar bills.

Pretty sure they mentioned this book to me back then lmao.
