If you make a comment defending guy who unironically loves :trump-moist: you will only be answered with :funny-clown-hammer:
Ballotpedia says:

His professional experience includes being a project manager for a technology company and working for the CIA. Kent has been affiliated with the Global War on Terror Foundation, Concerned Veterans for America, and Boy Scouts of America.
Yes, I agree that he is certainly an anti-imperialist peace candidate! :cia:
Guy work(ed) for the CIA, an anti terror foundation, and a veterans foundation, but he's definitely anti-war
:sus-deep:
What the fuck. GrayZone literally used to be one of my responses when people asked me what news sources I consider nonlib/CHUDdy.
If any comrades are still in the thread and wouldn't mind the effort to respond, are there any good sources/aggregates you guys are utilizing or trusting nowadays, or are we just playing each article by ear (as I have been, for the most part)?
There's BreakThrough News, Multipolarista, and Telesur. There's also Activist News Network that uploads the weekly radio show Gerald Horne hosts along with interviews of Black revolutionaries.
Fuck the Grayzone.
I ditched them when they started running with the League of the South.
FFS, not everything anti-NATO/US is a good source of news folks.
Multipolarista (Ben Norton's publication) is a great alternative to The Grayzone if this turns you off.
Hell yeah dude just gonna turn to the blood soaked bejeweled ghouls and be like "knock it off you guys"
As long as American class society exists, as long as the apparatuses of militaristic extraction exist, peace will never be bipartisan, but war always will be.
peace will never be bipartisan, but war always will be.
war can be made more politically different though. If the anti-Vietnam war movement hadn't been as large as it was maybe we would have stayed longer and killed even more people. Being anti-war is the first duty of the western left and is the main way we can actually contribute to the broader struggle
Critical support for chucking an m67 fragmentation grenade into your platoon leader's tent:rat-salute-2:
This guy has signs all over Vancouver, WA that just say "AMERICA FIRST" on them. This is like when original sub weirdos liked Tulsi.
vantucky wa is such a miserable place. why doesn't anybody burn down the confederate memorial on i5 near the battle ground exit?
I like the cropping of this photo, there's juuuuuust enough to make me think the uniform they all wore is that shirt.
Once again I am vindicated for dismissing certain people out of hand.
All the main guys there gave me bad vibes, Norton least (I just found him kinda annoying, idk why). I was willing to put it aside because they did some good journalism, but I had a gut feeling that they would turn into chuds. I'm glad Norton got out of there.
a couple of their remaining reporters follow GC and political detransitioner accounts as well. the grayzone is a joke of what it was.
will need to see if I can find the accounts again, they’re already in my block list
Say what you want about Trump but he did make a half-assed attempt to stop sending weapons to Azov.
While flipping Russia off by shitting all over SALT II. He absolutely did his share to bring the confrontation with Russia to an open proxy war, he brought tensions with Iran to a new level by breaking the nuclear treaty with them, he was deeper up Likud's ass than any US president before him. Obama also had little pet projects like the nuclear deal Trump broke, or trying to ease sanctions on Cuba. Which obviously failed while at the same time he was increasing drone strikes and destroyed Lybia. It's always the same, Amerikans can't vote their way out of imperialism. Not as long as there's capitalism. Capitalism needs endless wars. Peace is only possible when the economic system both parties stand for is destroyed.
Uphold a progressive, constructivist ethical basis - abide by rigorous standards for "leftists" and anti-imperialists.
Didn't know Anya Parampil was easily duped like Blumenthal is. Was hoping she'd be another Ben Norton who hadn't left yet.
I knew she was no good when she was on Fox with Tucker Carlson.
Seems to be a good "are they a dipshit" test for rising "leftists" is if they go on Tucker Carlson's show or not.
