        Did you know it was produced by Elijah Wood? Apparently he read the script and fell in love with it

          This movie has been on my list for a long time for precisely this reason - I love Elijah Wood's taste in horror. The 2012 Maniac remake is one of my all time favorite slashers. My one reservation, though... does this one have a lot of sexual violence in it? Should I maybe save this movie for a night when my partner's got other plans? She (understandably) doesn't like movies that depict that sort of stuff.

            Uhhh... there's a lot of sex and a lot of violence, but I don't remember any sexual violence. It's still definitely a movie about a perverted murderer so maybe screen it alone to be safe

            Its also a film about gross-out humor and jokes going on for too long, I wouldn't call it a good movie to show your girlfriend (although I don't know her maybe she likes that kinda stuff)

              It's less that I'd planned to show it to her than the fact that we live in a tiny apartment so it's hard to avoid watching movies together. That said, duly noted! Thanks for looking out.
