Do not pre-order ANY games. Yes, even the ones when generally good developers.
I really don't understand why people are still doing this. In-game pre-order bonuses are generally garbage and like 90% of the time they eventually are made available to the general public anyway. Just wait literally 24 hours until some reviews come out so you know you aren't blowing $60 on some glorified beta test.
Sony and Xbox are both doing $70 now, combined with regional pricing and currency strength relative to USD you could end up paying even more than that
Do not buy ANY games. Yes, even the ones when generally good developers.
Generally good developers when the ones do not buy any games, even Yes.
LOL at the screenshot.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
Do not
buy ANYgames. Yes, eventheones when generally good developers.
Damn I just realized how many game covers are just the character with their back to the camera looking out over the land or some shit
You got two choices when it comes to AAA games: Lone soldier holding a rifle on fire with a tank behind him for the shooter. Or lone adventurer with the camera behind him looking over a vast landscape for the adventure game.
My favorite is when they change the western cover of Kirby games to make him seemed pissed off. They have to make sure no one thinks the cute little pink blob is gay
Why would you ever preorder a game in the era of digital downloads? Love 2 give EA an interest free loan
How else am I going to get the exclusive pre-order bonus of an armor set that will last me approximately 5% of the way through the game?
I am going to be honest with you JK Rowling is not the reason I refuse to play hogwarts video games
This newest Harry Potter game is quite literally about doing genocide against a workers' uprising and somehow that's good.
because of course it is.
a goblin revolt against wizard slavers is a badass setting for a game but JK just had to side with the slavers
What's hilarious is that the game devs have explicitly denounced Rowling and said that they have no connection with her (aside from paying for the Potter license), and they still came up with this absolutely cursed story idea.
the magic pogrom simulator
I hope you're talking about HP, I'm generally hopeful for Jedi Survivor, fallen order was pretty fun.
The Harry Potter game is about suppressing a revolt by goblins (anti-semitic stereotypes) who are trying to exercise their right to bear arms
Who thought that was a good idea???? I don't know shit about harry potter, but I'm pretty sure i could come up with a better concept. Just off the top of my head - Wizard goes to a school, theres magical hijinks, have that weird sport be a minigame, and don't include any anti-semtic shit. How hard is that?
It would be so easy! Honestly the first couple HP games are bops, just lighthearted adventures and mild platforming/puzzle solving - although the later games in the series are just second rate third person shooters and kinda suck.
IDK I'm just reposting whatever my boss at the IRA tells me to repost
At risk of sounding like the “No ethical consumption under capitalism means I can do whatever I want” guy, if I try to avoid everything that Disney profits off of it’ll make living life pretty difficult
Also EA Games. It’s the double whammy of scumbags that makes it hurt.
Why buy EA games when you could put thousands of hours into Dwarf Fortress, the true game of the proletariat.
Ironically it was good because Disney went into Mafia Don mode and threatened EA until they stopped fucking around and did something meaningful with their license.
it's EA and fuck EA.
also just don't preorder games. it's a scam and all it does is encourage devs to rush out unfinished glitch ass broken games since they've already been paid.
instead, make the devs do the work and produce a game worth buying.
Oh yeah I don’t preorder games anyway, but that just seemed like a weird one to point out in particular compared to Blood Libel: The Game
I would preorder one if the DLC bonus is Majima comes to my house in real life
I'd pre-order every game RGG will ever put out if it came with one of these
It's an open world game where the enemies are long nosed, money grubbing goblins that you fucking murder
Yeah I’m fucking pumped. The story was a bit mid, (Cal Kestis is one of the blandest protagonists in history) but the gameplay was so tight and overall I absolutely loved it.
Yep that’s exactly what I did. The story was mid but it really wasn’t what I was there for as long as it provided good fights
Pre-ordering games unless it’s one of those limited run game’s physical edition of a digital game that already came out is only for suckers.
Don't pre-order any $70 game. Don't even buy them until there's a deep sale.
