Not looking for death to America memes I’d like to know what you think of the ideology and how it has benefitted North Korea

They’ve achieved communism. They’re self sustaining. The citizens are content. There isn’t any political divides in the country

Lol just bc they’re not a capitalist hellscape like the US doesn’t mean they’ve achieved full communism.

They’ve achieved a self sustaining agricultural base, a powerful industrial center, and a first rate defense military.

Have you read any North Korean newspapers recently? All I see are new buildings, fast economic response times, a fight against the pandemic, and a condemnation of Western Imperialism

Because the country is centrally planned, there is no class, and there is social leftism

what do you mean by social leftism? also doesn't the necessity of the kims leading the revolution sort of preclude the whole "no class" thing?

I disagree with the kims thing but otherwise there is no class or hierarchy

I really don't mean to be pedantic here but uh, no class does not mean some class. If Juche ideology requires a dynasty to lead revolution, it has inherent class and hierarchy required to enforce that class. I'm happy to hear disagreements or why I'm a fucking dumbass here, but I just don't see it

Well, it’s problematic. I agree. But otherwise, there’s nothing really wrong with them being in power
