If you were wondering if "Roko" was some mysterious luminary, wonder no further. He's just another bazinga with an extra helping of misogyny. :kombucha-disgust:

Women are indeed the "valuable" sex in that they have historically had value assigned to them because they were traded like cattle. Go to some countries and people will literally still offer to buy "your" women off of you.

But sure chief, "they'll be fine no matter what". After all, if some shady dude offers to buy your sister for a good price, that's a compliment, isn't it?

I like His Dark Materials and how it frames Eve as this heroic figure for having given freedom of consciousness to all sentient things and also fuck that loser god

Everything I hear about gnostic is bad. Why is that? Agnostic seems good, why does subtracting a single letter seem to lead to nazism or something?

They weren't that bad for the time. They were big on gender equality and believed everyone could know God personally so were anti-hierarchical for the most part. I don't know what you have heard that makes them comparable to nazis.

Apparently it led to what a lot of Nazis believed, it's where they got the Black Sun logo among others. Like I said, I don't know much about it other than it's always some kind of malign ideology.

I don't think there is any connection between them and the black sun logo. I think it was meant to be more Scandinavian pagan. They did believe the God of the Jewish people was evil so you could call them anti-Semitic but I think regular Christianity's 2000 years anti-Semitism influenced the Nazis more there.

"I've never read the Bible but I feel like I understand it better than any Christian."

Love it, replace bible with whatever subject and you have perfect STEM brain especially these bazinga rationalist types.

people who write physics textbooks can make computers and airplanes. Physics textbooks are actually extremely information dense, the bible is full of meaningless noise

this dude. One of the most analysed texts in human history packed with symbolism and metaphor and he think's it's easy because it isn't about STEM

      the sheer dipshittery on display

I can say with certainty that people who write physics textbooks can't make computers or airplanes. Design them, maybe, but actually making the thing requires you to know how to use the tools you are designing for.

The idea that Christianity's elements all exist to serve some purpose for the good of society is such a wild assumption to begin with.

Everything after that is almost window dressing

At the risk of being a bazinga brain myself...

Study after study proves any delusions of grandeur wrong. Fuck nepotism, just pick who is the most qualified. E.g: Congress is a total sausagefest and look at all the train derailments. Meanwhile look at Cuba, it has a majority female congress and Cuba's life expectancy beats :amerikkka:'s despite the embargo.

it's pretty wild how the internet has created the opportunity for people to share ideas/images/sounds globally, at near the speed of light, without a moment's reflection.

and some people do this with it, instead of doing something funny like hooting or showing a monkey farting.

Before women fought for their right to properly enter the workforce they were totally reliant on their husbands for money. If he died or got sick (which happened often for the working class) she would either end up homeless or in a workhouse which was basically a prison.

Misogynists aren't even capable of helping the gender they DO like.
