China has put forward a quite general peace proposal, which I imagine is both for Ukraine and also meant to be a general guide for solving conflicts in the future, with 12 points. Unfortunately it has no lobsters, nor dragons of chaos.
These 12 points are, as follows: respect the sovereignty of all countries and all countries are equal; abandon Cold War mentalities; cease hostilities; resume peace talks; resolve humanitarian crises; protect civilians and POWs; keep nuclear power plants safe (what a jab!); reduce strategic risks (that is, nuclear war); facilitate grain exports; stop unilateral sanctions; keep industrial and supply chains stable - the economy is not a weapon; and promote post-conflict reconstruction.
TeleSUR goes into more depth on each point for those interested.

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins
Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. I recommend their map more than the channel at this point, as an increasing subscriber count has greatly diminished their quality.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)
Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources. Beware of chuddery.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are fairly brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. The Duran, of which he co-hosts, is where the chuddery really begins to spill out.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.
Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.
Telegram Channels
Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.
Pro-Russian
https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.
https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ Gleb Bazov, banned from Twitter, referenced pretty heavily in what remains of pro-Russian Twitter.
https://t.me/asbmil ~ Now rebranded as Battlefield Insights, they do infrequent posts on the conflict.
https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.
https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.
https://t.me/riafan_everywhere ~ Think it's a government news org or Federal News Agency? Russian language.
https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ Front news coverage. Russian langauge.
https://t.me/rybar ~ One of the really big pro-Russian (except when they're being pessismistic, which is often) telegram channels focussing on the war. Russian language.
https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.
https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.
https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.
Pro-Ukraine
Any Western media outlet that is even vaguely liberal (and quite a few conservative ones too).
https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.
https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

it's really funny how the website in general oversamples America, while the news megathread oversamples the Nordic countries

Credit where credit is due, capitalist decay with healthcare is a lot more comfortable than capitalist decay without healthcare and I would not want to swap places.
Living in a place like this you sometimes feel guilty for caring about your own domestic struggles. Relatively speaking we're lucky. Our labour protests are drowned in bureaucracy instead of blood, our poor are suffering exclusion and hopelessness instead of starvation, our cops arrest minorities instead of summarily execute them and our Nazis burn books instead of people. What right do we have to complain when so much horror goes on in the world around us?
This weird kind of survivor's guilt is often employed against those pressing back when the neoliberals cut yet another slice from the salami. And you do feel silly for voicing opposition when the freedoms you're left with is still something that must of the world can only dream of.
That emotion is bullshit though. It is true that all the comforts of the imperial core are only possible because of wealth stolen from the periphery but let's not kid ourselves. The wealth extracted by forcing Danes to work an extra day will not go towards reparations to the global south, instead it will line the pockets of western arms dealers and the domestic bourgeoisie. Shying away from that conflict because you feel guilty for winning the geographic birth lottery is only going to embolden the neoliberals and will lead to absolutely no positive change. There is always somebody somewhere who has it worse than you and if you could only fight for material improvements if you won the oppression Olympics then we would still be dealing with the divine right of kings.
The collective west is all circling the same drain. Some are closer to full fascism than others but that is the direction we're all moving. Fighting that development wherever you happen to be is worthwhile.
All western countries go into the same direction they only differ by degrees
if there is to be a future for the human race it will come from the peoples of the oppressed third world
It's telling for a website where the basic tenant "Social democracy is the leftmost wing of facism." is fundamental to understanding any of the discourse (as demonstrated by the late LiberalSocialist).

Just giving back some slop to the marvelous news hogs :rat-salute:
I wanted to give you a perspective of entrenched, formalized labour struggle.
Since you mentioned it I am a member of like 3 or 4 parties due to party primary shenanigans. Sadly no true communist party since the 70's or something. :sadness:

I appreciate the international focus here. So many leftist spaces devolve into being mostly US focused (this site not usually being an exception)

:im-doing-my-part: Just reporting what the dumbest social democrat of this decade is doing. Sadly she now seems hellbent on ruining higher education, when the previous social democrat decided to make public schools worse for seemingly no reason other than spite. All in all, Mette Frederiksen has genuinely surprised me with how terrible she is being on both foreign policy (letting NATO take the reins) and domestic policy. In fact she has been so busy with making everything worse that she hadn't even had time to be racist to nearly the same degree that she was in 2019.
