China has put forward a quite general peace proposal, which I imagine is both for Ukraine and also meant to be a general guide for solving conflicts in the future, with 12 points. Unfortunately it has no lobsters, nor dragons of chaos.

These 12 points are, as follows: respect the sovereignty of all countries and all countries are equal; abandon Cold War mentalities; cease hostilities; resume peace talks; resolve humanitarian crises; protect civilians and POWs; keep nuclear power plants safe (what a jab!); reduce strategic risks (that is, nuclear war); facilitate grain exports; stop unilateral sanctions; keep industrial and supply chains stable - the economy is not a weapon; and promote post-conflict reconstruction.

TeleSUR goes into more depth on each point for those interested.

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. I recommend their map more than the channel at this point, as an increasing subscriber count has greatly diminished their quality.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources. Beware of chuddery.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are fairly brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. The Duran, of which he co-hosts, is where the chuddery really begins to spill out.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ Gleb Bazov, banned from Twitter, referenced pretty heavily in what remains of pro-Russian Twitter.

https://t.me/asbmil ~ Now rebranded as Battlefield Insights, they do infrequent posts on the conflict.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/riafan_everywhere ~ Think it's a government news org or Federal News Agency? Russian language.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ Front news coverage. Russian langauge.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of the really big pro-Russian (except when they're being pessismistic, which is often) telegram channels focussing on the war. Russian language.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Any Western media outlet that is even vaguely liberal (and quite a few conservative ones too).

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

Still can't stop laughing at dumbfuck Americans pointing out "Russias original territory" and showing a map of the Muscovy duchy in 1471.

My brother in Christ, your country or your people literally did not exist on the continent back then.

Isn’t it funny how a Ukrainian missile landing in Poland had western liberals frothing at the mouth to start WWIII but Ukraine directly making an attack in a third country’s soil isn’t even getting news coverage?

Some sources close to the Belarusian and Russian militaries have claimed that the attack on the airfield didn't happen.

Supposedly a Belarusian militant group did it. That reminds me, a so called Russian communist group derailed military railways in Russia, and you don’t see liberals talking about it.

It’s funny how they demand random Russians :vote: or revolt against putin, and when they do, it happens that they’re communists (supposedly). And as far as I know, the communists are the only ones doing direct action in Russia. It seems like liberals don’t want to talk about how liberalism is ineffective at resisting.

I don't support direct action against these countries from the liberal/fascist sector

But they're communists and so fuck yeah uncritical support :soviet-heart:

It is difficult to not start fedposting in the wake of the Nablus attacks. Very little is unjustified if it hastens the end of the Zionist regime. The media coverage is also disgusting, entirely “Palestinian gunman shoots two” coverage

Imagine if Mexican migrants were burning American mayo's homes and the Mayos shot back. Media would go hog wild about 2nd amendment and a Mexican invasion. In Palestine however, there are two sides to the story and we need to respect the right to a Jewish homeland and stop antisemitism.

i think it'll be really funny if the West does the same blackout on all Chinese works like they did with Russia and banning books by like centuries-old Russian authors, such that the Art of War becomes "Chinese propaganda" that proves how the Han ethnicity is predisposed to warfare or some fucked up argument like that

Some drama on the war front. The general of RF ground forces Alexander Matovnikov got out of a shower and did a little towel dance for the misses and she recorded it on her phone. Mild stuff with a very brief peen shot (mostly) nothing to see here but Ukrainian hackers got a hold of it and put it on the net . Russians laughed it off.
    From Prigozhin's telegram:

When Comrade Stalin was informed that Comrade Rokossovsky had a wife and a bunch of mistresses, to the question: “What are we going to do?”. Comrade Stalin replied: “What are we going to do? We will envy."

I got a string of e-mails that the Estonian Customs had to open my parcel from South Africa to inspect it. It's the book Shattering Zionist Myths by Firoz Osman (I have his other book too). I imagine at least one customs agent had to be taken to the hospital for cope overdose.

Once the postman delivers the book to either a drop box or my flat, I'll be going round town to give all of the EKRE and Fatherland dronies nightmares.

I’ve been relying on the grace of Estonian customs to get Russian books in the USA. I know very little about Estonian politics, but I am thankful that booksellers there are allowed to act as middlemen between Russia and the West.

Normally by this time in the winter season we’ve had a few inches of snow accumulation and maybe one big storm.

So far we have had less than one single inch of snow total and it melted in 45 minutes.

US scientists working on the WHO investigation into Covid origins says US isn't sharing any info.

I am deeply frustrated at the lack of additional information from the US reports assessing #COVID19 origins, which have not been shared with us and from investigations in China that can actually further the technical, serious discussions.

They pulled this shit with the Iraq WMDs, too. UN inspectors were on the ground not finding anything and saying we weren't giving them any usable information. Lead inspector Hans Blix was denounced in our media as an incompetent joke and/or corrupt, and we used the lack of evidence to "prove" Iraq was hiding their WMD program and "justifying" the US invasion. The democrats who authorized the invasion, supposedly so Bush could pressure Iraq into letting in inspectors, didn't object to any of this. Once the invasion happened and we didn't find any WMDs, the whole affair was quickly forgotten.

It would be insane for us to wage war against China, but who knows what the fuck we are up to.

(to Anthony Blinken) Instead of meddling, acting in an intrusive manner in our affairs... why don't you take care of what's happening in Peru, where the US ambassador is the adviser to the coup plotters?
