The pontiff has repeatedly spoken out against gender theory over the years, even as he has emphasized the need to be welcoming and provide pastoral care for transgender people. For instance, he has likened gender ideology to nuclear arms and genetic manipulation, and he has warned that it’s part of a “global war” against marriage and the family.

It was religious dogma that was the ideological colonization er "mind virus" that caused my heart to malfunction to the point where I was on heart pills. The doctors couldn't explain it. Said I'd be on them "for life".
It was because I was closeted and not being honest to myself. When I was forced to confront that and be honest with who I really am the heart issues stopped. It was all subconscious psychological stress internalized due to almost 20 years of societal and religious conditioning.
