But more realistically, he got rich after tripping into the online payment processing game on the ground floor and then platforming from elevator to elevator on the Endless Investor Cash Ride for the next ten years, while pocketing every public tax subsidy and government incentive he can get his grubby mitts on.

This is literally a shitload of managers at small tech/marketing companies. Dummies, but they were buddies with the owners in the 00's and they were able to rake in money so they just kinda stuck around until they became the people who hold others to account for the money line going up/down

I want to fully endorse and encourage the theory among Fascists that Elon Musk is an infallible mega-genius, and that his hill is absolutely the one you want to die on.
