“ Two U.S. intelligence agencies (both being the agencies ruling in favor of Iraq WMDS with no proof) reportedly support the lab leak theory — with low-to-moderate confidence. No evidence has been shared.”

Saddam built covid to torture Uyghurs as a favor to Xi, but he died before it could finish. Xi was only able to perfect it recently to kill 20 billion people

Even if they didn’t, the CIA supposedly knew since 2019. They had many months of prior knowledge and did jack shit with that. Even Trump admitted it was a deadly virus before the hysteria but libs don’t even hold the Watergate reporter for withholding that information until election season.

Oh you mean the lab known for chemical and biosafety leaks, that was also working on covid modification research?

The problems date back to May 2018, when storms flooded and ruined a decades-old steam sterilization plant that the institute had been using to treat wastewater from its labs, Ms. Vander Linden said. The damage halted research for months, until the institute developed a new decontamination system using chemicals.

      ruined

new decontamination system (which the next few paragraphs talk about failling inspections and having problems)

I have no evidence of this (but why should I hold myself to a higher standard than :cia:) but it seems like the follow-up is very similar:

:no-oil: COVID was caused by China! So...

:mission-accomplished: It is Un-American to let it disrupt us! If we do anything to mitigate it (work remotely, wear masks, get vaccinated, etc.) the terrorists (or whatever the current :us-foreign-policy: label is) win!

There’s a reason why only individuals are calling it and not the president. Having 0 evidence with such bombastic claims will cause irreversible damage. But that won’t stop Biden from letting his goons go wild

Well I think it does matter. One story tells a tale of the world needing to work together. The other tells a story of an evil Asian nation forcing this event to happen, (to no fault of our own) and that China must be defeated at all costs.

The Covid lab leak is at least some level of possible, lab leaks have happened before in plenty of other countries.

But it's also unlikely and let's be honest, 99% of this is just "blah I'm racist and I want to believe in Evil Chinese Bioweapon" shit.

Strange how an unknown disease circulated America for up to a year before COVID-19 was identified in China. Could it be that our healthcare system is too dysfunctional to identify a new disease, but as soon as it crossed into a country with a functional one they figured it out for us?

What really sucks is that while I'm not sure it's actually from Ft Detrick, I am 100% positive that if we got "the COVID files" right now and it became common knowledge that America made COVID-19 and leaked it absolutely nothing would come from it.

There's a new book out about ft Detrick, called Pandora's Gamble:

      https://wusfnews.wusf.usf.edu/environment/2023-04-30/did-a-military-lab-spill-anthrax-into-public-waterways-book-reveals-details-of-a-us-leak

The book has a number of photos of the contaminated water spills (that link doesn't, I'll try to find another).

It's time to flip this on its head. I believe in Chinese WMDs. There are important clues to be found in history that China has actually tried to develop weapons of mass destruction. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist, but after looking into China's test of a hydrogen bomb in 1967 I became like 80-90 % convinced that they may actually have a nuclear weapons program. Cards on the table I even suspect the US may have developed WMDs, but I recognize that this is maybe a bit too wild and needs further research.

IIRC it was two random fed agencies that said it was China lab leak, and way more have said there is no solid evidence to prove that.

Honestly I could believe either a China or US lab leak, a lab leak from a lab jointly funded by China and the US, Bill Gates did it, etc. But I could also believe the bat poop hypothesis.
