These guys struggle so hard to define "woke" because if you define it, it sounds too reasonable. I can give an objective, boring definition of how they use it. Wokeness is the belief that there are oppressive systems in society such as racism, sexism, anti-LGBTQ systems, and classism. Proponents of wokeness believe everyone has a moral obligation to dismantle these systems.
If anyone gave a definition like that, the obvious responses would be "Wait, so you don't think there's racism?" or "You're on the side of racism?"
Even the word 'woke' is a confession of what they hate about it. I can't imagine this culture war will be good for the control they seek over their kids' minds
When I was a kid I knew I was supposed to hate LGBTQ people, but all I ever saw them asking for was completely reasonable. I watched the bitterest, most loveless people in my life try to assert a monopoly on love, and it helped me see that they're the broken ones
I'd go as far as to say they use it as a substitute for the n word.
