It's so jokerfying how the chuds thinks she's a leftist because she's a billionaire and doesn't want to genocide black people.

To be fair, the frothingfash did started malding so hard that they busted out the "NFL games are scripted like wrasslin'" theory to paint her as some sort of Machiavellian puppetmaster.

          Classic conflict.

On the one hand she sucks but "only" as much as every other billionaire and less then a lot, like at least she's not also using her platform for spreading bigotry but also she's like the poster child for climate ruining personal consumption.

But on the other hand she makes chuds incredibly mad just by existing.

So bad with confusing unintended side effects?

White people. I say this as a white person. Pretty much every second white women loves Taylor Swift, even where I live. Apparently Taylor also alienated a ton of her black fans by dating and writing half an album about a racist guy that went on a cumtown podcast and said racist things. That's what I understand from browsing social media and listening to the first half of her latest album.

Honestly listening to Taylor Swift's latest album was weird. She had a whole song dedicated to calling out the section of her fans that told her to stop dating the racist guy. That level of parasocial behaviour on such a big pop record weirded me out. But I guess that's why she's popular, people want to be invested in the Taylorverse™®

How many songs/albums does she have about people she dated? I know that's the most relatable thing to write lyrics about but if like 15 dudes in a row have done you wrong maybe take a look in the mirror?

She’s made songs referencing that lol. Blank Space is the most popular from her self reflection songs, although it’s supposedly satirizing those sentiments lol. It’s a banger though

I have to wonder, did she meticulously calculate that he and his team had a good chance of playing in and possibly winning the superbowl before they started dating?

i googled it and she's mentioned 12, which isn't crazy for a conventionally attractive woman in her mid 30s who's been famous for like, two decades. and as far as ive heard she's on good terms with more than a few

I'm so mad that housing is such a solvable problem/issue. It's not some nebulous quandary of the soul, it's a very actionable thing we can adress. We never do though, all we do anything other than shuffle human lives around.

And it’s not even a “we just need to spend the money” thing either, because housing homeless people costs less than letting them live on the streets. This is something that any level of government can solve if they just choose to. The federal government could do it by just using the money printer but also any broke local government can solve homelessness as a cost cutting measure.

but then how will we justify the giant police departments cities have, and how will we justify their primary function, which is buying off the most violent morons to the side of the capitalists so they don't make trouble?

Can anybody explain how Taylor Swift is so big? I'm normally not one to judge somebody's music taste but god damn she puts out the blandest fucking TV commercial music you can think of. Is the power of being a nepo baby so tremendous?

I mean that’s entirely why. She makes largely uncontroversial music, and she’s largely uncontroversial herself. The things that the media focus on are her sex life/relationship which is typical celebrity gossip nonsense, but she parlayed that into an empowerment brand unlike other celebrities which I suppose may resonate with girls and women who hate having people constantly criticizing them for private affairs. Plus, there are only few reasons why people become popular. Either you’re extremely transgressive and controversial, or you’re widely appealing, or both.

Her feud with Kanye was also iconic. But nowadays he’s just dragging it out cause he’s washed while she just subtly references it or talks about it to the media constantly like it’s still relevant lol
