In North Korea, propaganda to brainwash children into worshipping the state is built into the school curriculum
Woah there comrade, calling Henry Ford a nazi sympathizer is pure revisionism.
Dude was just a straight up nazi, full stop.
I mean, my public schools literally taught us that we ended slavery first because we're so moral (a baldfaced lie), and that Roosevelt's Great White Fleet would've prevented WW1 if he remained in office. Edit: and I didn't learn Ford was bad at all until college.
Imagine if China announced a national commission to promote patriotic education.
One can only imagine, considering the unhinged reaction that something like the Hanfu Movement caused when the west caught wind of it.
How many more people just swallow it up though? Overall, this is going to make the people who are susceptible to Fascist narratives even harder to convert.
The fact that you lot start every day at school with the pledge of allegiance is insane to everyone else
Lol yes turn up the tensions. Make it intolerable for liberals, make the propaganda so obvious even more reject it. Balkanization here we come! Thank you comrade Trump!
You see with this plan it will be "only-america". Now schools will teach that the sun rotates around the US of A. And without the US of A the sun wouldnt rise each morning.
Unfortunately that isn't too far from the current reality. Don't they, the right, already believe Trump is some gosling unfolding a millennium old global sex trafficking ring? And that's without propaganda
I would love to know what Trump's remarks were criticizing a project that examines slavery in American history...
I will always remember my teacher telling us that Japan teaches history about WWII differently than us and leaves out obvious facts to make them look better. Then I remember another history teacher spending months on Greek and Roman history and then when it came time to talk about slavery that was a week with a short quiz at the end.
