American brainworms run ridiculously deep. People who become cognizant enough of the sham of bourgeois democracy and reject the two-party system will either A) become commies, or B) invent new nonsense ideologies and new political parties to push them.
It's because attempting to displace the Dem party in our system is a monumental task that requires a LOT of groundwork before running a presidential candidate. These are all inherently long-shot, Connor Roy-style "anything can happen" campaigns, it requires being a ridiculous person to do it.
Big name as a Indepentent , this is good. this is healthy , this breaks the Tired dynamic.
