Did you not see the recent news about West supporting action taken by DeSantis?

They couldn't have chosen a better grifter to lead the grift party. I hope they fleece a lot of people into learning something

Isn't that party just a big grift? They were supposed to run local candidates in 2022 and they didn't do anything except for raising money.

This is the tiniest sop to the culturoids. Would Paris not be worth, at the margin, one more Henry James book in lieu of one more Toni Morrison? Are you irate that every book assigned in school isn't Settlers? Who cares?

Also, the blog post linked is turbo lib:

Cornel West’s endorsement of Jill Stein — and hence, for all intents and purposes, Donald Trump — before the election that (inter many alia) brought us the end of Roe v. Wade and January 6th

Whaaa??? You're over getting scammed by grifters into believing in things that are utterly pointless.

Yeah, this people's party has been a grift from the start, and the rest might as well be at this point

Welp, nevermind. I was willing to vote for him, but I just learned all that is in this thread. Why does every third party attempt get filled with cranks?

American brainworms run ridiculously deep. People who become cognizant enough of the sham of bourgeois democracy and reject the two-party system will either A) become commies, or B) invent new nonsense ideologies and new political parties to push them.

It's because attempting to displace the Dem party in our system is a monumental task that requires a LOT of groundwork before running a presidential candidate. These are all inherently long-shot, Connor Roy-style "anything can happen" campaigns, it requires being a ridiculous person to do it.

I wonder if West is still passed about not getting a ticket to Obama's inauguration...
