It's incredible that venues are still getting away with this, the only reason they're able to is because most people have had it drilled into their skulls that it's not possible to have a good time without alcohol. It's 2023, hit the vape in the parking garage, you'll be good for 3+ hours and it will likely cost you pennies. Hell, just do shots out of your trunk before walking inside and you should be good for a few hours.
I'm not hard up for cash but I refuse to pay more than $10 for a beer that isn't some kind of micro brewery limited release. Any time I see someone plastered at a sporting event I wonder how much they spent to get there.

I grow my own, currently working on grand daddy purple and 0.10 g in a dry herb vape is enough to turn me into a three-toed sloth at least twice. I also don't use cannabis more than once a day and never more than two days in a row so I have no tolerance.
Good point, I'm in a legal state so generally nobody cares as long as you're not ripping fat clouds in the faces of bystanders but it could definitely be dangerous elsewhere, especially for minorities.
