      Car dealership owners are rich as fuck - literally multi-millionaires with significant political influence. They are not "middle class" at all.

      At which point they just label it Communism and come up with some bullshit as to why their team is being forced to do it by sinister hidden forces. They'll come around on DeSantis (assuming they don't get in line behind Trump). But they'll never lift a finger against their local car dealerships.
