i just graduated in a science and the class was like 20% women. even now in the "enlightened world" or whatever the fuck. it sucked, both for lesbian reasons and for feminist reasons (and for night out reasons. having to figure out which of my 100% male friends and acquaintances i can trust alone and drunk at 5am is not a fun calculation to have to run so often)

dear communism please make my workplace and industry more gender equal (and also redacted my boss uwu) inshallah

I always worry about my friends whenever they go out, I keep hearing horror stories and while we're having fun I'm still always slightly on edge watching out for everyone

Experience has taught me to be the "make sure everyone gets home" friend in the group, which means I never get to be the irresponsible passed out one

I graduated a while ago now, but my class in engineering was 10% or less. It's not good, folks.

This happens with literacy rates too. The places with the highest rates tend to be currently or formerly socialist.

“But at what cost?” - Lib media.

Instead of asking why can’t the west educate its populace? Nah just be mad at communism

All those poor people forced into stable careers, a healthy work/life balance, having a home to live in, a nutritionally sound diet, and better sex with their partner(s).

How could that evil Vladimir Marx do this? thonk-cri

I will NOT live in the apartment which rents at 5% of my income. I will NOT eat the better diet than my American counterparts.

Excellent meme, but trying to explain the layers of ironic anticommunism to an outsider when showing this meme was a mistake

I met a person who unironically believes that the USSR forced women to become scientists. She is from Kazkhstan and I keep my communism pretty quiet around her. Dhe also recently converted to Catholicism and is a big fan of Sakashvili, because he is a liberal.

Who even writes for the economist? I assume all their writers are part of the incestuous uk ruling class or something

Anyone group doing serious journalism any more will consider is a negative if you've had experience with the Economist. It was always a mouthpiece of the most depraved international bourgeois, but the quality of even basic analysis has actually declined over the last decade or two imo.

The shocking thing is that this is something you see across Western media, and especially British media. The decline in the BBC's reporting has been particularly extreme due to Tory purging of the institution. If you watch BBC reporting during the Cold War, even the 80s, the reporting, bad as it may have been, was still far more balanced and objective that the current BBC reporting.

LIBs always love to boast about fighting for gender equality and diversity in various departments of society, but when communists actually achieve it, it's bad, and must be authoritarian coercion funny-clown-hammer

It reminds me of when Cuba implemented that new progressive family code that, among other things, legalized gay marriage. Some LIBs were suggesting that the only reason they legalized gay marriage is because it's part of some sort of devious plot to get more control over society by giving people what they want fidel-wut

      Liberals discovering democracy, 2023 colorized.

Edit: remember when China was donating vaccines to the global south while the West was hoarding jabs? Libs had to invent a new term "vaccine diplomacy" to describe the revelation that people like you when you help them.
