I don't think that this is dementia. Imo it's her reminding him of his place and to not ask her proper questions. It's more proof of the Dems expectation (and the reality) that the media is completely subservient to them

Idk the ability for these senile flour bags to manipulate interviews vs legitimate creeping dementia is leaning more towards the latter everyday.

Having/feigning dementia is now a viable political strategy because it makes them relatable to boomers/boomers are so addled that they can't tell or just think it's normal

When your strategy is to embody the Avengers going through dementia you know you've fucked up

Imagining a timeline in which Bernie won the primary in a landslide after introducing Susan Sarandon as 'my wife Jane' and telling a rambling story about the diminishing size of onions

Is this really more likely than a pure senior moment though? The question wasn't even that hard.

I’m all for dunking on octogenarian accomplices but a charitable reading of it would be (after he asked if they have plans to fight it) “uh, hello it’s Sunday morning, 36 hours after she died! We’re not there yet.”

Not that the DNC hasn’t probably been aware she was moments from death for a couple weeks already and of course should do everything in their power if they actually cared. It’s shitty politician speak wrapped up in a totally butchered snark.

E: Looking at the extended clip not even that seems likely. What the fuck

Yeah, I mean could be either. To me it felt like she was putting him in his place in an extremely old rich lady kind of way. Like it was uncivil to ask that on a Sunday morning or something. It's clear Pelosi thinks that she and the Dem leadership should be accountable to no one, so I don't think it has to be a hard question for her to take offence. She thinks she's doing the interviewer a favour by talking to them.

To be sure, we'll need to find this guy: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/10/11/16458142/congress-alzheimers-pharmacist

Not soft enough. See, she was talking about how the start of early voting was the same day RGB Lighting died, not about doing anything, or voting one way or another, just, spending time yaas queening.

How dare he ask her for information
