Idk, could be her teleprompter fucking up, could be her software rebooting. Who fucking knows. She's 1193 years old, these geriatric freaks don't know when to quit. Why the fuck would you put yourself through all this bullshit when you could fuck off somewhere nice and hang out with your family? She's so fucking rich it hurts and this is what she chooses to do with her time. None of this fucking matters to her. She'll be dead in a decade, but the horizon of her imagination is mounting an inept drooling defense of a rapidly disintegrating status quo against all challengers except the ones who want to kill her.

Oh wow that's bad. Is this edited at all? I know sometimes chuds will edit Biden shit to make it look (even) worse, and this is so bad it almost makes me wonder. But if it is real God damn.

I thought the same thing and had to look the video up. The part of the clip starts at about 6:15 and it plays exactly like the twitter clip. The fact that she randomly says good morning sunday morning when the interview was already past 6 minutes and not like in the second question just makes it worse.

She has been known for being a cocktail drinker for 60 years.

This is what your brain looks like on booze when you get old.

I don't think that this is dementia. Imo it's her reminding him of his place and to not ask her proper questions. It's more proof of the Dems expectation (and the reality) that the media is completely subservient to them

Idk the ability for these senile flour bags to manipulate interviews vs legitimate creeping dementia is leaning more towards the latter everyday.

Having/feigning dementia is now a viable political strategy because it makes them relatable to boomers/boomers are so addled that they can't tell or just think it's normal

When your strategy is to embody the Avengers going through dementia you know you've fucked up

Imagining a timeline in which Bernie won the primary in a landslide after introducing Susan Sarandon as 'my wife Jane' and telling a rambling story about the diminishing size of onions

Is this really more likely than a pure senior moment though? The question wasn't even that hard.

I’m all for dunking on octogenarian accomplices but a charitable reading of it would be (after he asked if they have plans to fight it) “uh, hello it’s Sunday morning, 36 hours after she died! We’re not there yet.”

Not that the DNC hasn’t probably been aware she was moments from death for a couple weeks already and of course should do everything in their power if they actually cared. It’s shitty politician speak wrapped up in a totally butchered snark.

E: Looking at the extended clip not even that seems likely. What the fuck

Yeah, I mean could be either. To me it felt like she was putting him in his place in an extremely old rich lady kind of way. Like it was uncivil to ask that on a Sunday morning or something. It's clear Pelosi thinks that she and the Dem leadership should be accountable to no one, so I don't think it has to be a hard question for her to take offence. She thinks she's doing the interviewer a favour by talking to them.

To be sure, we'll need to find this guy: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/10/11/16458142/congress-alzheimers-pharmacist

Not soft enough. See, she was talking about how the start of early voting was the same day RGB Lighting died, not about doing anything, or voting one way or another, just, spending time yaas queening.

How dare he ask her for information

You want what is maybe the likeliest answer. In the most simple of terms, Her IFB (earpiece that plays the audio from the studio) started playing the wrong feed and that is probaly on ABCs end. So she started to hear something like a greeting and responded.

Why is everyone on here so obsessed with trying to figure out if people have dementia or some other brain disease? Goddamn it's just media, cameras are on 24/7 and people say dumb shit sometimes. This is a nothingburger that right wingers love to crow about. This is the 2020 equivalent of saying that Dubya is wrong because he said misunderestimate once.

Completely off topic but you've reminded me that Michael Brooks would occasionally say "nuke-you-ler" like Bush.

Yeah exactly, he said nuclear in a way that's easier to pronounce and lots of people say it that way, he must be the dumbest president! continues to get owned by Bush for 8 entire years

Focusing on this shit is what the partisan hacks do. You’re right again. sigh.

You're an angel for saying this, and thank you.
