Yes you can. But the touch controls make you slower than PC in my experience.
It might've just been who I was playing with, but 10 second debate/voters really killed the enthusiasm of the phone version for me.

Nope. I never really got into that one. Blackwake maybe? I always named my ship the Rocinante after The Expanse. If not that it would have to be Payday 2.
Those are the only games I ever added a great deal of people from. Slim chance it may have been GTA V or Deep Rock Galactic.
I'm gonna guess a glitch then, even though I love the Expanse I've never played any of those except GTA5 and never online haha.
