It's a long article, but it's worth a read.
"December 8 is known as the “safe harbor” deadline for appointing the 538 men and women who make up the Electoral College. The electors do not meet until six days later, December 14, but each state must appoint them by the safe-harbor date to guarantee that Congress will accept their credentials. The controlling statute says that if “any controversy or contest” remains after that, then Congress will decide which electors, if any, may cast the state’s ballots for president.
We are accustomed to choosing electors by popular vote, but nothing in the Constitution says it has to be that way. Article II provides that each state shall appoint electors “in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct.” Since the late 19th century, every state has ceded the decision to its voters. Even so, the Supreme Court affirmed in Bush v. Gore that a state “can take back the power to appoint electors.” How and when a state might do so has not been tested for well over a century.
Trump may test this. According to sources in the Republican Party at the state and national levels, the Trump campaign is discussing contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors in battleground states where Republicans hold the legislative majority. With a justification based on claims of rampant fraud, Trump would ask state legislators to set aside the popular vote and exercise their power to choose a slate of electors directly. The longer Trump succeeds in keeping the vote count in doubt, the more pressure legislators will feel to act before the safe-harbor deadline expires."
There is another thing contributing to this which I have hardly seen anyone mention, which is that even if Biden's withered corpse legitimately wins, a lot of his votes are going to be mail-in, and probably counted way more slowly.
Which means that after Election Day, Trump might be ahead even if he winds up way behind. So on that Wednesday he can basically declare victory and act like any votes still coming in after that are a Soros plot.
I actually think this is the best outcome of this Lovecraftian nightmare election, since it would basically invalidate the presidency of either piece of shit that winds up occupying the Oval Office.

Oh OK. I don't listen to him that much even though he's generally good, because he has a bunch of shit takes that annoy me. I don't think he's doing a bad job, his heart is in the right place, but he's just very basic-bitch politics a lot of the time. Not in an intellectually challenging "I disagree but good point" way, but rather I find myself going "oh, shaaadup" way too often.
He's a lib for sure but he also platforms communists and other people to the left of him consistently. I think he works well as part of the pipeline to the left.
The thing I respect the most about Sam is that he has his beliefs and limitations thereof but he always knows his place and never judges or looks down anyone for harboring different opinions or being more lefty than him. It's why he and Michael (RIP) had great chemistry and why he always platforms some really badass left-wing personalities.
Contrast this with other libs who look down on people further left than them, like so many people in the MSM, hell even Cenk does this from time to time
And he has noooo faith in republicans or corporate democrats.
Yes I agree, that's why I went out of my way to say he is good, but just too annoying to listen to regularly.
Daddy Seder is a lib but we love him
