Had the misfortune of hearing that name mentioned IRL recently by someone I know talking about how some band was trying to rehabilitate their image after an apparently transphobic past? And I had to be like "umm... that just makes things worse. Like, her schtick is being a token for transphobes to have around to do the transphobic stuff for them..."

TBF, most cis people probably don't know that, so maybe the band meant it in good faith?
