Real shame when Trump should have like 8 AC. Too bad he had (plexiglass) Shield cast on him.
nerd shit
also CMV: the ability to crit fail skill checks is lame, not every check should have a 5% chance of comical failure no matter your expertise. lookin at you BG3
Further nerdery:
You can't crit fail or crit succeed a skill check. You can in BG3 but not in the tabletop. Also any scenario in which you can crit succeed on a 20 (attack rolls), you'll automatically crit fail a 1 even if the DC is 1; 20 is an auto-success but a 1 is also an auto-failure.
Yep, why I modded skill crit fails out as soon as I could lol. It's generally why I prefer the pathfinder method of determining crit success vs failure, and the genesys/star wars narrative dice system's handling even more. Systems with degrees of success/failure, & narrative complications with success or benefits with failure are much more fun IMO
FFG SW/Genesys has probably my favourite dice system. Too bad it's not very suitable for real-time play.
Should have saved before, this would have been worth save-scumming 😔
If real life have save-scumming. Do you think we would have a Utopia, or people would abuse it for their own gains and turn society to literal hell?
The plot of the movie "the butterfly effect" has this idea, essentially.
Fake spoiler: the butterfly doesn't really effect anything. In fact it almost has no dialog at all outside of what we saw in the trailers.
Definetly abuse. Imagine giving the capitalists even more power...
Some people will choose to manually roll in case they can get a 20 and have a crit success.
