They've pulled in cops from around the whole region/probably country (I saw one from as far as georgia). The feds threw $75 million at EACH convention just to cover security for this year

I just want to rip my hair out honestly. Watching yesterday the trump family gleefully fist pumping chanting and clapping while their demon of a father was elected as the republican nominee. We were so close to getting rid of the guy and it backfired spectacularly, and now he's going to go on a tear in his presidency which Biden has handed to him. Anyone else feeling this shit?

the drastic changes in media coverage between the debate and the shooting makes me think that might change, but we will see
I feel like that debate was so awful for Biden that everyone that would already have been behind Trump was already behind him, and the assassination probably only solidified the support.
And the polls already say Trump wins so it's still not good news for Biden.
This nation is on a hair trigger (even more so than usual) after the assassination attempt. Be careful out there because every cop in America is extra paranoid right now.
