I know, but it's still always interesting to hear about people's stories of being gangstalked

Interesting in a weird, potentially unempathetic psychology study way

There's a TikTok of a guy documenting his schizophrenic episodes that have been really educational and gives me a deeper understanding and insight into what it actually looks like beyond just academic reading

I don’t find it funny. It’s distressing, but provides a window into a life I never had and hopefully won’t develop as the days go on. It’s also interesting to contrast gangstalking experiences with real, organized harassment campaigns (these usually don’t involve your family members and neighbors but professional state agents)

Gang stalked? No. Stalked or talked to by creepy autonomous dudes almost every time I go out to a store without my bf? Absolutely. Men aren't ok.

The closest I have is my partner's mom being tracked by the bunco squad when she put in for worker's comp

I sussed it out pretty quick because there was a private courier van parked across the street and how does it take a whole day to deliver a package?

This was back in Turkey, a korean woman we knew (because all the foreigners that were living in the city knew each other) was being followed by two cops in civil, she went to her neighbours saying two men were following her. The woman called for her husband, so they took off and she starts yelling at them from the window so the whole neighborhood is on alert while they were running away. A watermelon seller overhears this and legit throws one of his watermelons after them. They didn't stalk her anymore after that afaik.

But the spookiest things that happened to us by the state were more mundane, like denying a proper visa for years so they could have kicked us out at anytime. Or annoying, like how christmas gifts kept disappearing from the parcels our grandparents sent us. But they were shit at wiretapping so we always knew they were listening in.

Edit: Ah I remember that one time after we came back from Germany a neighbor told us they scared off two guys trying to break in during daytime. We're 90% they were cops in civil as well but will never know for sure I guess.

I don't think we should be encouraging this. Engaging in delusions like this can be deadly at worst, and still significantly negative at best. It doesnt raise awareness, it won't help, and it could seriously hurt a vulnerable person. Please consider deleting this post.

If people disagree please tell me but people won't know their gangstalking phenomenon is a delusion unless they tell other people they're being gangstalked

I don't think anybody here will tell them that gangstalking is real

The post legitimizes the concept and gives a space for people to engage with it. It doesnt matter if people specifically say "it's totes for realsies". Someone who believes that there's a global conspiracy to rummage through their underwear drawer isnt going to be convinced that it's not a delusion by some posts on a website, but someone could easily be triggered by it. Plus it'll just lead to the belief that hexbear is part of it and remove a potential avenue of support from them, pushing them deeper into their delusions. I have seen things like this happen. It's the same sort of thing that "lolcow" enthusiasts do, and your justification is similar to ones they use.

I'm finding my mail or my bags getting opened and ruffled through now anytime I get something shipped to me or go traveling.

Ergo I will leave my dirty underwear and socks front and center so the first thing those jerks get to experience is a pure cornucopia of stank.

Better yet the last time they went through my bags they were nice enough to put them in a zip lock bag and tuck it away neatly for me.

Thanks, losers. Fold my dirty laundry for me again next time! undyne-joy

Basically all my tweaker friends believe that they’re being gangstalked. Literally there isn’t a single person I have to talk to who isn’t dumb. I hate it.

Long time ago as a teen, FBI, because cyber crime. One LEO physically surveilled me for some amount of time, must have been fun watching a house while I'm posted up in the basement.

For about a decade one side of my family was occasionally spied on and had their mail searched seemingly. They weren't exactly inconspicuous and one my aunts eventually just went and knocked on their vehicle and asked them wtf they were doing and they asked if she's heard from Name, showed her FBI badges, and seemed satisfied and left everyone alone after that. Name was her brother, an uncle of mine I never met, who'd fought in Nam and vanished from the face of the earth a couple months after returning to the States. The family suspected drug stuff.

Actually, I must ask the question: what does anyone the state gain from gangstalking people?

If its politically-involved or really, any famous people, I'd understand, but why ordinary people?
