They want the unity ticket so bad, it's not a surprise he said that - that's what he's been writing for like 30 years!

The line that pisses me off the most is "here's my pitch for the writers' room" this man literally thinks reality is a tv show.

that's pretty much liberals and their historical idealism— they think reality is primarily driven by people's ideas and not their material conditions

The best solution for American democracy is actually to just have one party. We can decide which party that is by letting God decide and we can let that party choose their leader themselves. And then we can all go to the ballot box to vote for that one party. This is totally different from monarchy somehow because we all vote at the end of the process and that makes it democracy

“The United States is also a one-party state, but with typical American extravagance, they have two of them”

why doesn't the new york times publish my shitposts?

i'm trying to imagine having spent my entire adult life huffing my own farts and being told how pretty i sound afterwards so that when i wake up one morning and an idea pops into my head that i feel a burning need to share with the world, instead of being relegated to a niche corner of the anonymous internet i just call up my friends at a major newspaper and tell them i've got a fucking opinion that i want to share

see, my immediate reaction was, "this is a bit, how could this not be a bit?", so I hope they cut you a check for publishing what is clearly your shitpost

Well liberals rehabilitated George W. Bush and McCain already so Romney was obviously next.

Can't wait for the rehabilitation of Trump in 2032

If they're going with a Republican, why not go with Trump? He's clearly ahead and they could earn a lot of votes that way.
