I hate to even say this, but leave Palestine aside for a second: both the Democratic and Republican parties were completely happy to sell you out and have a million Americans die to COVID. That's more than 200x as many deaths as 9/11. If you want the situation to improve at home because you're too much of a chauvinist to consider what's happening in Palestine, at least set your aim a little higher than being slaughtered to calm the markets.

Curious! I also don't think we should be sticking our noses in other people's conflicts! Hence the "Free Palestine".
It seems like, by the numbers, people are overwhelmingly on the pro-palestine side there, so why feel dismally about the people?
I admit my doomer moments aren't entirely rational. Still is sobering seeing a nonzero amount of people be this astronomically dense and self-centered but that's life.
