      I still can’t initiate because I feel like I don’t know what actual consent looks like, so I can’t possibly know whether the other person wants it. Just making any move is impossible for me because I always assume that the other person might not like that.

      This part really resonates with me in particular. The answer is to just communicate openly, like you say, but years of my being explicit about things as my autistic self being shut down at every turn, combined with RSD just makes me feel like I'm stuck in this place forever...
