Don't want to get too specific on car, an old rig from the mid 90s fabled for their longevity.
Over 10 years ago I was applying to a job related to medical and got rejected because they'd figured my car was unreliable and would break down that very instant, still going strong, probably outlasted their modern cars. My car is much too old to do any of those delivery gig sort deals near me, and it strikes fear into the heart of the bourgeois and petite bourgeois when they see it.

Me too, trying to save up for another clunk but it seems 10k is the new 2k car.
Prices for used cars have shot right up, plus newer cars seem like they're less reliable with all the electronics.. I just want a CD player and basic ac and roll down windows.. I miss simplicity
My car is still back in the day of the tape player, doesn't work, but I just use my phone for music etc anyway.
