Moisturizing and refatting skin care doesn't just make the skin softer, it also prevents it from cracking. Being on estrogen now basically means your skin produces less fats, which makes it dry out, which in turn leads to it breaking more easily. The reverse of this is why high testosterone leads to acne and oily skin.
