Mostly I'm just annoyed that it cut off the arguments I was havingI thought about not deleting it and then I started to watch the video, heard V*ush speak and I just had to. Instant recoil at that awful man's voice.

I loved motorcycles until I lived in Mexico for a while and realized they have a different perception of what a “bike lane” is for. Constant lane splitting and going into bike lanes or even on the sidewalk to speed around traffic. My brother got hit by a motorcycle in a bike lane, thankfully his bicycle took the brunt of the impact and saved a mother and child from getting hit. Of course, the motorcycle likely wouldn’t have been in the bike lane if there weren’t cars congesting the road but there will always be impatient assholes and motorcycles are still dangerous for pedestrians
I'm not watching an hour and a half video, does he address the fatality rate?
Yeah it really can't be overstated how dangerous they are, 6/6 of the motorcycle riders I know have been in hospital for injuries sustained while riding, two of which were permanent (a limp and back pain). Part of that is the dominance of cars but I don't see that changing any time soon. And if we need dedicated infrastructure, we might as well just go straight to cycling.
Yes, starting about 34 minutes in. The main point is that cars are safer for their occupants specifically at the expense of the safety of everyone around them, while motorcycles are the other way around.
