Maybe it's just because I am relatively young and my perspective is skewed by the present series of events I am witnessing, but it feels like this country really is racing itself off a cliff

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the bourgeoisie will drown. The accumulated filth of all their greed and murder will foam up about their waists and all the executives and politicians will look up and shout 'SAVE US!'...and I'll look down and whisper 'No.”

This is what we mean by dictatorship of the bourgeois. How else could you explain the US military, whose job it is to defend America from threats both foreign and domestic, using this ruling to abdicated their responsibilities to protect their citizens? Only by accepting that their interests are not aligned with the people of America but with America Inc.

I have nothing funny to say about this. This is fucked up and I know the floodgates are opening to even more poisoning of our planet.

The affected 10-square-mile site is beneath Tucson International Airport, Air Force Plant #44, and the Morris Air National Guard base.

That’s in the southern part of the city, where the low income people live 🙃 it’s also disproportionately more hispanic than other parts of the city

Ah, another justification for looking pepe-silvia whenever I explain to people that I filter + boil my Bay Area tap water because I don't trust the US govt to not contaminate my water
