Topic of discussion: oatmeal raisin cookies - yes or gulag?

    I just feel like I have not much to say, especially on topics I'm not read up on sometimes. On raisins though I'm convinced store bought are terrible because they are coated i in sugar. My neighbors give my parents a lot of grapes and I have gotten into drying them myself and they taste pretty good. I come from a family of diabetics so using something sweet with fiber seems to be a good substitute for sugar when baking.

      being a blowhard who isn't informed on the topic is an american tradition. also, i like how unburnt cigarettes smell like raisins

        True that, on the cigarette thing I'll take your word on it since I never smelled an unburnt one.Don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.
