what liberals think anarchism is, in the capital L Liberal sense of the term. they're mostly reactionary at this point so they're going to sound pretty right wing but that's the hegemonic ideology.

and to them, it mainly means revolutionaries who oppose the state and choose to incite or participate in confrontational, mass direct action against the state - something that absolutely every communist should be willing to engage in as it's what sets us apart from liberals in the first place.

to the fascists, it just means undesirables who become so because of their politics. they mean the white people who have turned traitor to their race by joining with the enemy.

to put this in perspective, the federal government is trying to build RICO charges against demonstrators by claiming BLM is an anarchist organization and its on that basis that people are being held right now. the actual organizations people belong to doesn't matter in the face of the grand narrative the state is trying to construct. (I don't know how well-known that is - I've gotten that information by talking to people who were arrested.)

be very sure that forum/social media posts will be used in court cases to "prove" that people are anarchists in the liberal sense and that as much as we fight to build a better world, right now we need to do it to avoid prison, the camps, and worse.

the new red scare isn't over secret communists - it's over secret anarchists. that doesn't mean much as it's just a way to justify what they will do to us.

We're not just anarchists, but a specific tendency within anarchism that comes from italy in the 70s.
